The Achy Breaky Heart, named after a Billy-Ray Cyrus song and styled in a fusion of traditional Japanese and American motif.  It fits into a niche genre of style that sees the cross section of cowboy western and Japanese anime; occupied by the likes of the cult classic 'Cowboy Bebop'. Magnets in the roof of the presentation box hold the leather choker from which the heart is suspended.  Playful and cute for your pets; 4 legged or 2, we don't judge you. 

Kintsugi was used to highlight the beauty found in heartbreak; as it is used to embrace the beauty of flaws. A teardrop cascading down the heart finishes the motif. 

This piece is a stainless steel chime heart that is painted for a porcelain effect. As the pendant swings, you hear a most magical chime 🎵🎵✨

It is designed to give the illusion of a broken porcelain heart that is reconstructed using the traditional Kintsugi technique.

Kintsugi (金継ぎ, "golden joinery"), also known as kintsukuroi (金繕い, "golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
